Great job to everyone at State! Xcel has continued to grow in Washington, and over 1,200 gymnasts competed at state this year. We are very proud of all of our girls!
Regionals is coming up for all of the girls in just 4 weeks! This is the first year they are having a regional meet for Xcel, and it is invitational style, meaning there is no qualification necessary to compete, and any Xcel team in our region (WA, OR, ID, MT, AK, HI) can attend. You may have heard that some gyms are requiring certain scores for their gymnasts to compete at regionals, but we want everyone to have the opportunity to compete one more time this season! Northwest Aerials has announced that the schedule will be sent out in early April.
Reminders:
No practice Saturday, April 7th (closed for Spring Break)
Regionals Buddy Gift: "You've Been Framed" (picture frames)- due to the gym by April 26th
After Regionals, practice will be from 9:00-11:30am (we will be teaching the Gym Extravaganza routine)
